Lucy Barnard is a PRO Australian Adventurer attempting to become the first woman to walk the length of the world.
It’s a 30 000 km treck from the bottom of Argentina to the top of Alaska. She travels by foot, or when the terrain is unpassable she swims or uses a kayak.
Already more than 3000 km in, Lucy has walked through sub 20 temperatures, slept in slaughter houses, come face to face with puma’s, run out of food, swum through ice capped water, and been stopped by gunned farmers.
So why do it? One of us [women] has to do it. Lucy wants to show people with unique projects that they don’t need a compelling reason to have a go. The experience in itself is enough.
She keeps a whimsical blog covering the wins, mishaps and predicaments only someone as charismatic as Lucy could find herself in, she posts daily to Instagram and is branching out into regular vlogging with extra equipment she now carries using her Monowalker.
